“REAL EDUCATION SHOULD ENABLE ONE TO UTILISE THE KNOWLEDGE ONE HAS ACQUIRED TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE AND TO MAKE ALL HUMAN BEINGS HAPPY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE.” –
BHAGAWAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA

The Sri Sathya Sai Educational system aims at embedding the five core human values – Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace), Prema (Love), and Ahmisa (Non-violence) – into every aspect of education.

It seeks to ensure that the students who graduate from the portals of these institutions are professionally competent, socially responsible and spiritually aware. In sync with the Sathya Sai Schools across India, the Delhi Sathya Sai Primary School housed at the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre is value-based, integral and quality driven.

The ultimate aim is to use education as a tool to groom the young minds for living harmoniously in a global society. Education in the school is completely free with no fees being charged for anything. About 150 students are currently studying in the Primary School of Sri Sathya Sai International Centre.

The children belong to poor and underprivileged families and our aim is to provide an opportunity for continued education for children for children who for various reasons dropped out from School. The school is a non-residential, affiliated to CBSE (currently up to Class IV) and was established in July 2012, most of the children are first generation learners as they belong to families where parents haven’t been schooled.

The school provides free education, free uniform for winter and summer, free books and stationery and also offers a mid-day meal refreshment to all students. The school is non-graded, learner friendly, has an integrated approach and provides value based education.

Spiritual education (Bal Vikas) is conducted twice a week for all students. Parent teacher meetings are held to encourage interaction between parents and teachers. The school has around 9 teachers and other non-teaching staff.
